“There’s no book that guides you through that loss, and so losing Rocky was really tough,” the Hotel Hell star said.
He said ultimately, the experience strengthened his family and ‘brought us a bond that you’d never experience in a normal situation.’
Ramsay’s Cornwall home is named after Rocky, each family also wears a piece of jewelry with his name on it.
In an interview with Weekend magazine, the chef said he and his family had been overwhelmed by the support.
He said (via MailOnline): “You don’t realize until it happens to you how many people are affected. Sadly it happens every day.”
