Parents are being urged to \u2018raise their kids better\u2019 after a cinema cleaner shared a photo on social media.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s an experience all of us share \u2013 showing up to watch a movie<\/a> and finding our seats absolutely covered in other people\u2019s rubbish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s pretty frustrating, especially when you\u2019ve paid a premium for your tickets and are looking forward to enjoying the film!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now one cinema cleaner has hit back at those who terrorise other movie-goers with their mess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They shared images of a theatre that had been absolutely decimated after a film showing, and people are now encouraging parents to \u2018raise their children better.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n

The Reddit post has sparked a lot of online commentary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some Redditors were on the side of the kids, with one commenting: \u201cIf we kept it clean you wouldn\u2019t have a job.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Another says: \u201cThat\u2019s the job,\u201d while a third adds: \u201cYou literally get paid to clean it up sooooo I don\u2019t know why the f*** you complaining.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, many other commenters have come out in support of the cleaner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One comments: \u201cThis is terrible. I can\u2019t stand people that can\u2019t respect others\u2019 property.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another writes: \u201cI worked in a theatre back in the early 2000s, and this reminds me of every weekday showing of Harry Potter<\/em><\/a>\u2026 I actually overheard a parent saying to his kid, \u2018No leave your trash on the floor they will pick it up,\u2019 those showings were the dirtiest of them all.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A third offers a suggestion to prevent this sort of destructive behavior, writing: \u201cThere should be a refundable cleaning deposit for scenarios like this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Someone else suggests: \u201cIf they purchased a private screening then trace them through their credit cards and charge them for damages, ban them from the theatre chain. There are ways to hold them accountable. Oh, and their s****y parents too.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While a fifth writes: \u201cScumbags. What sort of trash parents have raised them to do this?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, one Redditor can\u2019t believe in the amount of mess for quite a different reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They laugh: \u201cAll I can see is $5000 worth of popcorn on the ground!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

The cleaner in question has taken to Reddit to share their outrage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They explain that the group of teens had booked a private screening at the cinema, then left the film 20 minutes early, prompting suspicion from the staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

And it turns out, this suspicion was highly justified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cleaner entered the theatre to clean up before the next screening and saw the absolute carnage these teens had left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire floor and most of the chairs were covered in a layer of popcorn, leading us to believe the group may have been having a food<\/a> fight, rather than properly enjoying the artistry on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This blatant lack of care for the space also shows major disrespect to the cleaning staff, who, of course, had to deal with the enormous mess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
