A woman videoed a man\u2019s outburst at her gym, claiming it\u2019s proof \u2018women aren\u2019t safe in 2024\u2019. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going to the gym is never easy \u2013 but as a woman, it can be even more uncomfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many women have drawn attention to how nerve-racking their workouts can be \u2013 especially thanks to certain men at the gym.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A survey from Run Repeat in 2021 suggested 56% of women reported facing harassment during their workouts, per the BBC.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, one adult star has gone viral<\/a> after sharing a clip of a man interrupting her gym session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruvee was filming herself doing squat pulses when she was interrupted by a man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her camera was turned on, and so his full tirade against her was captured on film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruvee posted the now-deleted video to TikTok, but the comments section was divided over who was right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some believe Ruvee\u2019s technique was to blame for the uncomfortable encounter.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cI work at a gym and have never seen anyone do what you were doing,\u201d one writes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLooks nothing like pulse squats,\u201d another agrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Other commenters are angry at Ruvee for filming herself in a public place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBan video recording in gyms!!\u201d one demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCameras should be banned, and she should 100 per cent be banned forever,\u201d another shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While a third writes: \u201cIt\u2019s the facial expressions. Pulse squats is one thing but adding facial expressions to make it look like something else is where she went wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

In the video, a man approaches Ruvee while asking: \u201cWhat are you doing?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She explains it\u2019s a leg warm-up, and he replies: \u201cI know what you\u2019re doing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The man then accuses Ruvee of being \u2018what\u2019s wrong with girls\u2019, at which point the woman asks him: \u201cAre you pointing at me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He goes on to describe her behaviour as \u2018ridiculous\u2019 before kicking her phone away, seemingly breaking the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later on, Ruvee speculates that the man knew who she was and that he was angry because of her OFs fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe I\u2019m not allowed to stretch at the gym because of what I do for work,\u201d she shares on\u00a0Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBefore I started OFs I was doing the same stretch before every leg day,\u201d she says in a follow-up TikTok video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd all the people saying that I deserve to have my phone kicked, I deserve to be harassed in public because I was minding my business in the smallest corner of the gym\u2026 is there a rule that says no phones? No there\u2019s not. Was it on a tripod? Was I being obnoxious? No, I wasn\u2019t. Was I being loud? No.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s really sad to me to see all these comments saying that I deserve something because I went to the gym and was stretching.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There has since been some speculation on X, formerly known as\u00a0Twitter, about whether or not the video was a staged skit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
