Chloe Bailey was devastated when she learned she\u2019d accidentally eaten meat for the first time in 10 years.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bailey is an American actress and singer who shot to fame alongside her sister Halle Bailey as the duo Chloe x Halle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, the siblings have released two studio albums, with the latter, \u2018Ungodly Hour,\u2019 receiving widespread acclaim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, Bailey and her sister have been outspoken about their dietary choices.<\/p>\n\n\n

The two have been open about their choice to practice\u00a0veganism, a diet that abstains from the use of animal products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But on one occasion, Bailey was horrified to find out she\u2019d broken her lifestyle choice when a hotel messed up her order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

People took to the comments after the singer opened up about the incident, with one writing: \u201cSeven plus years here. I completely understand this. It\u2019s happened to me too. I am so skeptical about where I buy my food<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another added: \u201cI\u2019m vegan and the thought of it made me sick.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empathizing, a third said: \u201cIf I put 10 years into something and someone\u2019s mistake jeopardizes that, I\u2019d be p***ed\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat is not cool, I haven\u2019t eaten pork in 20 years and recently stopped eating meat I would have instantly been sick,\u201d somebody else commented.<\/p>\n\n\n

In an Instagram<\/a> livestream, Chloe revealed her avoidance of meat was broken when she went to see Beyonc\u00e9 perform in Atlanta, Georgia, per The Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She began: \u201cSo I called to get a Beyond burger for sis and I like usual. Specified that it\u2019s vegan, no butter on the bun, nothing like that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond Meat is a brand of plant-based, meat alternatives designed to look, taste, and cook like meat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The \u2018Have Mercy\u2019 singer said she was in the shower when the burger arrived and when she returned to the bedroom, her younger sister immediately questioned her about the meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe\u2019s eating the burger and she\u2019s like, \u2018Are you sure this is Beyond?\u2019 She took a couple of bites and she said, \u2018This is really good, you sure it\u2019s Beyond?’\u201d Chloe said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI touched the patty and smelled it and was like, \u2018Of course, it\u2019s Beyond, yeah.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the pop star quickly realized she was mistaken.<\/p>\n\n\n

Chloe continued: \u201cSo I finish getting dressed, I take a bite and the juice dripping from the burger is not like a Beyond burger. I just knew it was not a fake burger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe one bite I took and I just knew. Immediately I said, \u2018This doesn\u2019t feel right.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The singer immediately rang the hotel\u2019s front desk to try and get some answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\u201cI said, \u2018Ugh, these are vegan burgers right?\u2019 He said, \u2018No, they\u2019re brand burgers.\u2019 I said, \u2018Brand burgers? I said Beyond burgers.\u2019 I don\u2019t even know what a brand burger is,\u201d Chloe recalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understandably, the singer was upset to learn she had unintentionally broken her vegan diet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chloe told followers: \u201cHalle\u2019s laughing at me because I\u2019m crying. This is right before the concert yesterday. I\u2019m crying, Halle\u2019s just laughing so hard at me because I\u2019m freaking out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
