The Red Table Talk host, 52, married Will Smith in 1997, and their relationship has been subject to much media scrutiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jada, 52, is an American actress, singer, and talk show host, recognizable for films<\/a> such as The Nutty Professor<\/em>, the animated Madagascar<\/em> movies, and Girls Trip<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 1997, she\u2019s been married to Hollywood legend Will Smith<\/a>, with whom she shares two kids: Jaden, 26, and Willow, 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, the couple has faced intense scrutiny regarding their marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n

The A-listers made global headlines when Smith slapped actor and comedian\u00a0Chris Rock<\/a>\u00a0at the 2022\u00a0Oscars<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It all started when Rock, who was hosting the event, aimed a joke at Jada\u2019s shaved head, comparing her to Demi Moore in the 1997 film G.I. Jane<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awkwardly, the night ended with Smith winning the Best Actor award for his role in\u00a0King Richard\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 however, the infamous slap overshadowed what should\u2019ve been the crowning moment in his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Following the incident, the actor was\u00a0banned<\/a>\u00a0from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization stated that the awards had been \u2018overshadowed by the unacceptable and harmful behavior we saw Mr. Smith exhibit on stage.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t the only controversy the couple has faced, with some arguing there was an even bigger scandal before the Oscars.<\/p>\n\n\n

The trio interviewed guests and discussed several topics \u2013 in 2020, one episode captured the world\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It involved Jada and Smith sitting down to have an intimate conversation, in which the actress opened up about having an affair.<\/p>\n\n\n

Jada had an \u2018entanglement\u2019 with hip-hop and R&B singer August Alsina, now aged 31<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

She recounted: \u201cIt all started with him just needing some help, me wanting to help his health, his mental state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe outpouring for him from our family was initially about his health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe found all those different resources to help pull him through and from there you and I were going through a very difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jada and Smith used the talk show to address the claim the actor had given his permission for the affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
